Configuring Call Transfer to Voice Mailbox

1.Access the web management system, and choose User > SIP User.

For a POTS user, choose User > POTS User.

2.Find and select the user number for which you want to enable voice mailbox services and click Service Configuration.

3.Under Complex service, click Configure next to Forwarding service.

4.In the window that is displayed, find the call transfer type to be enabled, and set the parameters, as shown in Figure 1.

Parameter

Description

Priority

Order of priorities for call forwarding to phone number and call forwarding to voice mailbox. If these two services are both enabled for a user, the selected call forwarding mode prevails.

NOTE:

Users can log in to the self-service portal to adjust the priorities of their call forwarding services. If None is selected, the global priority configured in Adjusting global call forwarding parameters prevails.

Voice mailbox

Right

Indicates whether to enable the call forwarding to voice mailbox service permission of the corresponding type.

Voice mailbox number

Number of the voice mailbox created for storing voice messages.

Service

Indicates whether to register the voice mailbox service of the corresponding type for the user. You may not register the service for the user here. Users can register the services themselves. For details, see Activating or Deactivating the Service.

Wait time

Waiting time threshold, crossing which the call forwarding on no reply service is triggered. This parameter is available only for call forwarding to phone number on no reply.

5.Click OK.

After a type of call transfer to voice mailbox service is enabled for a user, the user must activate the service for it to take effect. For details, see Recording Voice Messages.

6.In the upper right corner of the web page, click ftrg_u1900_en-us_image_0013253575 to save the configuration.
