This topic describes how to change the automatic switchboard number settings so that a user returns to the switchboard when the user fails to make a call to an extension number.
The automatic switchboard has been configured by default or with the function of customizing prompt tones.
The system will play the automatic switchboard prompt tone when a user fails to call someone by dialing an extension number through the switchboard.
1.Use an administrator account to log in to the web management system of a X1900 series unified gateway.
2.Choose Trunk > Called Prefix Configuration.
3.Create the automatic switchboard prefix and set VU cyclic parameters, as shown in Figure 1.

4.Click OK.
5.In the upper right corner of the web page, click to save the configuration.
In V200R003C50SPC600 and later versions, when VU loop is set to No, software parameter 543 can be used to control the number of times of VU internal cyclic announcement playing and digit collection. When software parameter 543 is set to 1, the VU does not play announcements cyclically. When VU loop is set to Yes, software parameter 543 does not take effect.
