This topic describes how to limit the duration of a single outgoing call and daily duration of outgoing calls for an intra-office user as the administrator, and how to limit the number of concurrent international toll calls.
By default, the local as well as national and international toll call durations are unlimited for a user. To prevent call fraud, you can set the maximum duration of a local call, national toll call, or international toll call and set the daily duration limit to make local calls, national toll calls, or international toll calls for a user. When the call duration exceeds the limit, the user will be automatically locked and needs to be manually unlocked by the administrator.
The outgoing call duration limit applies only to the original calling party, but does not affect the scenarios such as call forwarding, call transfer, one number link you (ONLY), simultaneous ringing, and sequential ringing.
ϒ⁄X1900 series unified gateway V2.0 and later versions allow the administrator to set the maximum duration of a local call, national toll call, or international toll call, the daily duration limit of each type of the preceding calls, and the international toll call frequency for a user.
ϒ⁄In versions earlier than X1900 series unified gateway V2.0, the administrator can set only the maximum duration of a national toll call or international toll call.
1.Log in to the web management system. For details, see Logging In to the Web Management System.
2.Choose User > SIP User or User > POTS User, select a number to be configured, and click Service Configuration.
3.In the Complex service area, click Configure next to Outgoing Calling Restriction, and set parameters.

Table 1 Parameter Description
Parameter |
Description |
National toll call duration (minute) |
Upper limit for each national toll call. The value ranges from 0 to 300, in minutes. |
National daily toll call duration (minute) |
Daily duration limit for an intra-office user to make national toll calls. The value ranges from 0 to 600, in minutes. |
International toll call duration (minute) |
Upper limit for each international toll call. The value ranges from 0 to 300, in minutes. |
International daily toll call duration (minute) |
Daily duration limit for an intra-office user to make international toll calls. The value ranges from 0 to 600, in minutes. |
International toll call frequency (times/second) |
Maximum number of international toll calls that an intra-office user can make in a specified period (in seconds). For example, if this parameter is set to 30/300 seconds, an intra-office user can make a maximum of 30 international toll calls in 300 seconds. When the user makes the 31st call in 300 seconds, the call fails and the user is locked. The value 0/0 seconds indicates that the frequency limit is disabled. |
Local call duration (minute) |
Upper limit for each local call. The value ranges from 0 to 300, in minutes. |
Local daily call duration (minute) |
Daily duration limit for an intra-office user to make local calls. The value ranges from 0 to 600, in minutes. |
The daily total local call duration, daily total national toll call duration, and daily total internal toll call duration have a 15-second deviation from actual values.
Table 2 describes the default maximum number of concurrent international toll calls.

The following assumes that the maximum number of concurrent international toll calls needs to be changed to 3.
1.Set the maximum number of international toll calls.
config system iddlimitnum 3
The show system iddlimitnum command can be used to query the configuration and lock status. If the international toll call rights are locked, the administrator can run the unlock system iddlimit command to unlock the rights.
After a user is locked, the user cannot make outgoing calls. The system plays the announcement "Sorry, your phone is out of service."
