The dual host backup function is a highly fault-tolerant application solution that combines software and hardware, which can effectively prevent unnecessary losses caused by service interruptions. The communication network layer adopts the external network's heartbeat mechanism (Keepalived), with dual machines providing a VVIP service address to the outside world. The internal data layer and application layer achieve data synchronization between the master and backup nodes.

Equipment requirements

1. The primary and backup devices need to be of the same model, firmware version, expansion board and module, installed in the same location and slot

2. The backup machine synchronizes the SIP extension and account information, so that IAD and phone can be registered to both the primary and backup machines simultaneously

3. By synchronizing the called prefix with the directional and directional selection codes to the relay gateway (consistent with the primary and backup), it is possible to connect the primary and backup machines using the same call routing

4. Except for SIP, other relays do not require synchronization of POST user information

5. If it is a backup machine and cannot be set, the only configuration available is to shut down both machines

6. On the main node, built-in VMS voice message files, recording files, custom voice files, call ticket files, unified gateway voice and language settings are not supported for synchronization to the backup node. Built in VMS voice message configuration supports synchronization to backup nodes

Tip:

1. When saving the page, it is necessary to first verify the peer information.

2. After the verification is passed, a prompt should be prompted: "Enabling dual machines will restart the system, selecting cancel will switch back to a normal node.".

3. After configuring the primary node, the backup node must be reconfigured to take effect.

4. After configuring the networking mode, the user will log out of the system and need to log in again.

5. Before configuring a backup node, the primary node must be configured first.
