Scenario

The headquarters and branch use the same automatic switchboard number. When intra-office users and external users call the automatic switchboard, the voice playback function is provided by the local node.

Figure 1 shows the scenario.

Compared with scenario 2, the difference is that the headquarters and branch use the same automatic switchboard number. You cannot configure multiple prefixes of the same value for routing calls to local nodes of different branches.

Therefore, you need to use the call source rerouting analysis function to implement this scenario. The solution is as follows:

Add users in each branch to a separate call source on the central node. Users at the headquarters belong to call source 0 by default. Configure the automatic switchboard number as an outgoing prefix for routing calls to the headquarters access gateway. This implement local voice playback for intra-office users at the headquarters. Then, configure call source rerouting analysis to reroute switchboard calls from intra-office users in a branch to the local node of the branch.

When POTS users registered through the local node call the automatic switchboard, the implementation method of local voice playback is the same as that for SIP users. Therefore, the configuration procedures for POTS and SIP users are the same.

Procedure

1.Set the voice playback source to Local on the local node and headquarters access gateway.

Refer to the procedure described in scenario 1.

2.Configure automatic switchboard number 28882999 of the headquarters on the headquarters access gateway.

When users at the PSTN side of the headquarters call the automatic switchboard of the headquarters, the voice playback function is provided by the headquarters access gateway.

Refer to the procedure described in scenario 1.

3.Configure automatic switchboard number 28882999 of the branch on the local node.

When users at the PSTN side of the branch call the automatic switchboard of the branch, the voice playback function is provided by the local node.

Refer to the procedure described in scenario 1.

4.Configure the automatic switchboard number as an outgoing prefix on the central node for routing calls to the headquarters access gateway.

To implement local voice playback when intra-office users call the automatic switchboard, configure the automatic switchboard number as an outgoing prefix on the central node for routing calls to the headquarters access gateway.

a.Use an administrator account to log in to the web management system of the unified gateway on the central node.

b.Choose Trunk > Called Prefix Configuration.

c.Add prefix 28882999.

ϒ⁄Set Service type to Basic Service.

ϒ⁄Set Call property to Local call.

ϒ⁄Set Office route selection code to the office route selection code from the central node to access gateway.

ϒ⁄Use default values for other parameters.

d.In the upper right corner of the web page, click Click to enlarge to save the configuration.

5.Configure a call source and add users in the branch to the call source.

config modify subscribe dn dn callsource no 1 number number

Here, dn indicates the user number, and number indicates the number of users added in a batch.

a.Configure call source rerouting analysis.

When intra-office users dial 28882999, the central node analyzes the prefix. Calls that should be routed to office route corresponding to the access gateway are routed to the office route corresponding to the local node after call source rerouting analysis.

config add routeanalysis officeselectcode officeselectcode callsourceno 1 officeno officeno

Here, officeselectcode indicates the office route selection code from the central node to the access gateway, and officeno indicates the office route from the central node to the local node.

b.Run the save command to save the configuration.
