This topic uses an example to describe the user number and interworking data plan. In this example, the UScale X1981 functions as the convergent node to implement voice communication requirements between local nodes.
ϒ⁄Users at different local nodes can call each other using "area code+short numbers".
ϒ⁄Users within a local node can call each other using short numbers or "area code+short numbers".
§Dialing area code+short number: The area code here is the local area code, and the calling method is the same as that used for calling users at the other nodes.
§Dialing a short number: Users within a local node can call each other by directly dialing the short numbers.

Planning and configuring toll call prefixes is to meet the following system requirement: The toll call prefixes must be configured before you configure the local call prefix. These toll call prefixes are not practically useful to the convergent node. |

User, number change, and intra-office call prefix configurations belong to the verification of basic voice calling and therefore is not covered in this process.
