At the convergent node, configure office routes, prefixes, and SIP trunks to each local node based on the data plan to implement interconnection between the local nodes.

Prerequisites

ϒ⁄You have completed the data plan for node interconnection. For the detailed data plan, see Scenario.

ϒ⁄You have configured basic data at the convergent node.

Configuring Office Route Selection Codes

In the current scenario, you need to configure the following office route selection codes at the convergent node:

ϒ⁄Office route selection code 1 to local node 1

ϒ⁄Office route selection code 2 to local node 2

ϒ⁄Office route selection code 3 to local node 3

ϒ⁄Office route selection code 4 to local node 4

ϒ⁄Office route selection code 0 for toll call prefixes

1.Choose Trunk > Office Route Configuration > Office Route Selection Code.

2.Click Create.

3.Configure an office route selection code (for example, 1) and click OK.

4.Repeat steps 2 and 3 to configure other office route selection codes.

Configuring Office Routes

In the current scenario, you need to configure the following office routes at the convergent node:

ϒ⁄Office route 1 to local node 1, corresponding to office route selection code 1

ϒ⁄Office route 2 to local node 2, corresponding to office route selection code 2

ϒ⁄Office route 3 to local node 3, corresponding to office route selection code 3

ϒ⁄Office route 4 to local node 4, corresponding to office route selection code 4

1.Choose Trunk > Office Route Configuration > Office Route.

2.Click Create.

3.Configure an office route (for example, 1) and click OK.

4.Repeat steps 2 and 3 to configure other office routes.

Configuring Prefixes

In the current scenario, you need to configure the following prefixes at the convergent node:

ϒ⁄Prefix 010 to local node 1. The corresponding call attribute is local call and office route selection code is 1.

ϒ⁄Prefix 021 to local node 2. The corresponding call attribute is local call and office route selection code is 2.

ϒ⁄Prefix 025 to local node 3. The corresponding call attribute is local call and office route selection code is 3.

ϒ⁄Prefix 0571 to local node 4. The corresponding call attribute is local call and office route selection code is 4.

ϒ⁄Prefix 900. The corresponding call attribute is international toll call and office route selection code is 0.

ϒ⁄Prefix 90. The corresponding call attribute is national toll call and office route selection code is 0.

When configuring outgoing prefixes, configure international and national toll call prefixes before configuring the local call prefix.

1.Choose Trunk > Called Prefix Configuration.

2.Click Create.

3.Configure a prefix (for example, 900) and click OK.

4.Repeat steps 2 and 3 to configure other prefixes.

Configuring SIP Trunks

In the current scenario, you need to configure the following SIP trunks at the convergent node:

ϒ⁄SIP trunk to local node 1, corresponding to office route 1

ϒ⁄SIP trunk to local node 2, corresponding to office route 2

ϒ⁄SIP trunk to local node 3, corresponding to office route 3

ϒ⁄SIP trunk to local node 4, corresponding to office route 4

1.Choose Trunk > Trunk Configuration > SIP.

2.Click Add A Peer Office.

The connection between the local office and the peer office is displayed.

3.Click the line between Local and point:0.

4.Configure a SIP trunk and click OK.

5.Repeat step 2 through step 4 to configure SIP trunks to other local nodes.

6.Click Data Save in the upper right corner of the web management system portal.
