This topic describes the background and application scenario of the call detail record (CDR) service and explains the methods of configuring and verifying the CDR service in the EC solution.
ϒ⁄Background information
ϒ⁄In the EC solution, the UScale X1900 series unified gateway and FTPServ are equipped with T to achieve user ticket generation. The unified gateway records all user call information and saves it to the ticket pool.
ϒ⁄Configuration on the Unified Gateway
ϒ⁄On the unified gateway, configure the IP address of the CDRServer for authentication and enable the function of generating CDR files.

ϒ⁄On the CDRServer, configure the data for interworking with the unified gateway and the information related to CDR storage.
ϒ⁄Configuring the Third-Party Billing System
ϒ⁄A third-party billing system can be used to parse the CDRs of the CDRServer and charge users for calls.
