This topic describes the concept and types of AT0 trunks.

An AT0 trunk is an analog trunk and is also called a loop trunk. AT0 trunks enable users to use subscriber lines of the peer office as trunks lines of local office devices. Local office devices are equivalent to analog users. The number of subscriber lines in the peer office determines the number of AT0 trunks in the local office.
