This topic describes how to troubleshoot voice prompt faults.
Voice prompt faults are as follows:
ϒ⁄When an intra-office user picks up the phone, no voice prompt can be heard, but the user hears the busy tone after a while.
ϒ⁄When an intra-office user picks up the phone and dials the service number, there is no voice prompt or the voice prompt is incorrect.
ϒ⁄When an outer-office user calls an intra-office user who is not in idle state, no voice prompt can be heard. The intra-office user hears the busy tone after a while.
ϒ⁄When an outer-office user calls an intra-office user who is not in idle state, the voice prompt is incorrect.
The possible causes are as follows:
ϒ⁄The service configuration is incorrect.
ϒ⁄The media resource board on the unified gateway is defective.
ϒ⁄Files in the voice.zip or mrsvoice.zip package are incorrect.
ϒ⁄The peer device does not support the voice prompt function.
