Checking MTU Board Indicators

The MTU board is a media-trunk resource board that connects to digital trunks, plays announcements, and holds conferences.

Figure 1 shows the MTU board.

Indicators in different status represent the running status of the device. Table 1 describes the indicator status.

ϒ⁄No power supply. When this occurs, check the power cable connection.

ϒ⁄Board fault. See Emergency Maintenance of the  UScale X1900 series to rectify the fault.

Running indicator

RUN

Green

ϒ⁄U1900_mntg_image_f_u1960_mntg_00228_01_f_u1960_mntg_00228_0_5HzBlinking: The board is running normally.

ϒ⁄U1900_mntg_image_f_u1960_mntg_00228_01_f_u1960_mntg_00228_greenSteady on: The board is faulty.

ϒ⁄U1900_mntg_image_f_u1960_mntg_00228_01_f_u1960_mntg_00228_grayOff: No power is supplied or the board is faulty.

Board fault. See Emergency Maintenance of the  UScale X1900 series to rectify the fault.

Alarm indicator

ALM

Red

ϒ⁄U1900_mntg_image_f_u1960_mntg_00228_01_f_u1960_mntg_00228_redSteady on: A critical alarm exists.

ϒ⁄U1900_mntg_image_f_u1960_mntg_00228_01_f_u1960_mntg_00226_red_2HzBlinking: A major or minor alarm exists.

ϒ⁄U1900_mntg_image_f_u1960_mntg_00228_01_f_u1960_mntg_00228_grayOff: No alarm exists.

 

Signal loss indicator

LOS

Yellow

ϒ⁄U1900_mntg_image_f_u1960_mntg_00228_01_f_u1960_mntg_00227_yello_roundSteady on: Signals are lost.

ϒ⁄U1900_mntg_image_f_u1960_mntg_00228_01_f_u1960_mntg_00227_gray_roundOff: Signals are normal.

Signal loss. Contact the service provider.

Remote alarm indicator

RFA

Yellow

ϒ⁄U1900_mntg_image_f_u1960_mntg_00228_01_f_u1960_mntg_00227_yello_roundSteady on: The peer device fails to receive data.

ϒ⁄U1900_mntg_image_f_u1960_mntg_00228_01_f_u1960_mntg_00227_gray_roundOff: The peer device is running properly.

Data receiving fault on the peer-end device. Contact the service provider.
