Overview of Configuration Documents

Configuration documents for the unified gateway involve the configuration guide, configuration example, and online help integrated into the configuration tools. Table 1 describes these documents.

Configuration Guide

Describes the entire process and general method of data configuration, including configuration preparations, initial configurations, license loading, board configurations, user number allocation, trunk configurations, automatic switchboard configurations, advanced configurations, and post-configuration operations.

Configuration Example

Provides configuration examples for the unified gateway in typical application scenarios, including board configurations, user number allocation, trunk configurations, and other configurations.

Online Help

ϒ⁄Provides online help for the web management system, including the background information, operation procedure, and parameter description.

Usage of Configuration Documents

You are advised to follow the principles below to configure data when referring to the configuration documents for the unified gateway:

ϒ⁄When the configuration examples provided match the live network scenarios, follow the Configuration Examples in Typical Scenarios and refer to the Configuration Guide to configure data.

For details, see Figure 1.

ϒ⁄When performing a configuration task following a specific configuration example, you can also refer to the related information in the Configuration Guide if necessary.
