Scenario Description
Devices run properly on the live network; however, the license capacity cannot meet the current requirements. After the customer places an order to purchase the capacity expansion license, OpenVox delivers the capacity expansion license entitlement, and onsite delivery personnel download the capacity-expanded license file on the ESDP.
This scenario applies to an office where a capacity expansion contract is signed. The new quotation form is processed in the same way as that for a new office. The ESDP automatically generates the license file containing the final capability by merging all license control items on same devices. The license control items in the downloaded license file contain the number of resources that are expanded.
For example, if the UScale X1900 supports 200 licensed voice users, and 100 licensed voice users are added, the final downloaded license supports 300 licensed voice users.
Procedure
In the capacity expansion scenario,verify that the ESN of the UScale X1900 for which the capacity is expanded is the same as that recorded on the ESDP. The subsequent procedure is the same as that in the new deployment scenario.
1.Log in to the ESDP.
2.Choose Equipment management from the navigation tree and check whether the ESN of the UScale X1900 for which capacity expansion is required is the same as that recorded on the ESDP.
