Method 1: Activating/Deactivating the Service on the Web Page

1.Log in to the web management system. For details, see Logging In to the Web Management System.

2.Choose User > SIP User.

To enable the service for POTS users, choose User > POTS User.

3.Select the number for which you want to add service rights and click Service Configuration.

The service configuration page is displayed.

4.In the Complex service area, click Configure next to Call-out restriction.

5.In the Configure Call-out Restriction dialog box that is displayed, select Call restriction type, and select a type from the drop-down list box.

6.Click OK.

The message "Configuration success" is displayed.

Method 2: Activating/Deactivating the Service on the Phone

ϒ⁄Activating the service

§POTS phone user A picks up the phone and dials *54#. When hearing beep tones, user A presses KSSSSSS#.

§SIP or POTS phone user A picks up the phone and dials *54*KSSSSSS#. An announcement is played, indicating that the service is activated successfully.

The call-out restriction service has been enabled for user A.

SSSSSS indicates the service password. For details about how to change the password, see Changing the Service Password.

K indicates the call-out restriction option. The values include 1, 2, and 3. When K is 1, the user cannot make any calls. When K is 2, the user cannot make national or international toll calls. When K is 3, the user cannot make international toll calls.

ϒ⁄Deactivating the service

§POTS phone user A picks up the phone and dials *54#. When hearing beep tones, user A presses KSSSSSS#.

§SIP or POTS phone user A picks up the phone and dials #54*KSSSSSS#. An announcement is played, indicating that the service is deactivated successfully.

The service can be deactivated only when the entered value of K is the same as the activated value and the service password is correct.
