1.Log in to a X1900 series unified gateway using the CLI and access the Config mode.

2.Configure the primary and secondary numbers.

config add otmn primarydn primarydn standbydn standbydn

Parameter

Description

primarydn

Indicates the primary number.

The value must be an intra-office number that has been allocated; otherwise, the command fails to be executed.

standbydn

Indicates the secondary number.

The value must be an intra-office number that has not been allocated; however, the number prefix must exist. For example, if you add 5000 as a secondary number, intra-office number 5000 does not need to exist, but there must be intra-office prefix 5, 50, 500, or 5000.

ϒ⁄To delete a secondary number, run the config delete otmn primarydn primarydn standbydn standbydn command.

ϒ⁄To deactivate the service, run the config delete otmn primarydn primarydn command.

3.Run the save command to save the configuration.
