The X1900 series unified gateways are switches used in OpenVox unified communications solutions. The X1900 series unified gateways provide professional voice over IP (VoIP) services that meet communication requirements of various enterprises.

Table 1 shows the models and application scenarios of the X1900 series unified gateways (unified gateway for short).

Works as a voice PBX in midsize enterprises or as a local access gateway in midsize branches, providing services for 300–1000 users. (only 2 U high)

X1981

M1981ZS

Works as a voice PBX in large-sized enterprises or as a local access gateway in large-sized branches, providing services for 1000–20000 users. (only 2 U high)

The unified gateway uses a highly-integrated SIP softswitch as the core and supports both narrowband and broadband services, helping effectively improve communication efficiency and reducing operating expense (OPEX).

The unified gateway can connect to analog phones and IP phones at the same time:

ϒ⁄Directly access to local analog phones.

ϒ⁄Use IP bearer networks to connect to analog phones through IADs.

ϒ⁄Use IP bearer networks to connect to IP phones.

The unified gateway can connect to PSTN networks or dedicated network voice switches through digital, analog, and broadband SIP trunks.
