Checking ASI Board Indicators

The ASI board is an analog user interface board that provides access services for POTS phones.

Figure 1 shows the ASI board.

Indicators in different status represent the running status of the device. Table 1 describes the indicator status.

Power indicator

ϒ⁄Steady on: Power is supplied.

ϒ⁄Off: No power is supplied or the board is faulty.

ϒ⁄No power supply. When this occurs, check the power cable connection.

ϒ⁄Board fault. See Emergency Maintenance of the  UScale X1900 series to rectify the fault.

Running indicator

RUN

Green

ϒ⁄Blinking (4 Hz): The board is loading software.

ϒ⁄Blinking (2 Hz): The board is running normally and a user is in off-hook state.

ϒ⁄Blinking (0.5 Hz): The board is running normally and no conversation exits.

ϒ⁄Blinking (1 Hz): The communication is abnormal.

ϒ⁄Steady on: The board is incorrectly installed or faulty.

ϒ⁄Off: No power is supplied or the board is faulty.

ϒ⁄No power supply. When this occurs, check the power cable connection.

ϒ⁄Board fault. See Emergency Maintenance of the  UScale X1900 series to rectify the fault.

Alarm indicator

ALM

Red

ϒ⁄Steady on: The communication is abnormal or the board is incorrectly installed or faulty.

ϒ⁄Off: The board is running normally.
