Data backup

A method that is used to copy key data to the standby storage area, to prevent data loss in the case of the damage or failure in the original storage area.

debugging network interface

A network interface used for debugging a device. At present, the RJ-45 interface is used.

debugging serial interface

A serial interface used for debugging a device. At present, the RJ-45 interface is used.

delay hotline service

A service in which if a user does not dial a number within five minutes after picking up the phone, a call is initiated to a preset number (hotline number) automatically.

designated pickup service

A service in which a registered user can answer the calls for a subscriber whose phone is ringing by dialing the pickup access code and callee number.

digit collecting

A function for receiving a certificate number, call number, password, date, time, answer, key name.

Digital Signal Processor

A specialized microprocessor designed specifically for digital signal processing, generally in real-time.

digitmap

A DigitMap is a dialing plan resident in the Media Gateway used for detecting and reporting digit events received on a Termination.

Direct-Inward-Dialing (DID) service

A service that allows an intra-office user to be connected through the PSTN long number of this user. That is, this call does not need to be transferred to this user through the automatic switchboard.

Do-Not-Disturb (DND) service

A service that allows the caller to hear a DND announcement or the busy tone. A user that does not want to answer calls can use this service. After subscribing to this service, the user can still make calls.

Dual Tone Multiple Frequency

In telephone systems, multifrequency signaling in which standard set combinations of two specific voice band frequencies, one from a group of four low frequencies and the other from a group of four higher frequencies, are used.
