The system administrator can audit logs to detect potential risks. The system must log important operations, such as system parameter setting, tariff setting, and service release. You are advised to harden the system to protect log files.

Checking Logs Periodically

The maintenance personnel must periodically check system logs, application logs, and security logs. If any fault is detected, report it to the upper-level departments. If the cause cannot be located or the fault cannot be rectified, contact OpenVox local representative office or OpenVox technical support center.

Backing Up Logs Periodically

The maintenance personnel must periodically back up log files to external storage media such as disks, tapes, and CD-ROMs. After successful backup, the original log files need to be deleted to free up the space.
